Ignore the great body of the Thames hurtling over your head and enjoy a ten minute walk from one bank to another. Entrances at Island Gardens DLR station and Greenwich pier.

Island Garden Cafe on the north entrance is worth a visit. Jamaican food, sandwiches and a good cup of tea.
